How we estimate nutrition
Estimated from USDA FoodData Central values for the ingredients and amounts listed. Menu2Website has not verified these numbers and cannot verify them. Actual values vary with recipe, portioning, brands and cooking. Not a lab analysis; do not rely on it for medical, dietary or allergy decisions.
From ingredients to a serving
AI may suggest ingredient names and gram amounts. It does not supply nutrient numbers. Each ingredient is matched to a named food in USDA FoodData Central. We multiply its values per 100 grams by the recipe’s gram amounts, add the ingredients, then divide by the servings the recipe makes.
Food choices, raw or cooked state, brands, and amounts all affect the result. You can change a match or amount without asking AI again. Foods are cached for 90 days; cached values may be used during an outage. Missing values are shown as unavailable.
Confidence and responsibility
Confidence reflects food matches and the share of amounts supplied by the owner. It is not a measurement of a dish. A low confidence recipe needs review before appearing on a live menu.
Menu2Website does not test, lab-analyze or otherwise verify any dish. The owner must check the recipe and numbers before sharing them with guests. These estimates are not for regulatory labelling, medical or allergy decisions. Allergen declarations and health claims are not generated.
USDA FoodData Central provides the public-domain food data. Published figures are rounded to avoid false precision.
